Hey, also a quick reminder to not drive on to the dirt highway shoulders in Yukon right now. With the late spring and saturated wet ground, the shoulders are soft.
If you must pull over for an extended period, get out and check the condition of the shoulder first to ensure your RV won't sink into the soil. What is solid on one spot could be soft 50' further along. What looks solid could be soft, don't be fooled by it.
Otherwise, stay on the paved or well-travelled portion of the highways. I hate seeing RVs tilted over on the shoulders of the Alaska Highway when I'm driving to & from town for my errands, and I imagine the RV owners aren't all that happy about it either!
