We are in Whitehorse - Hi County RV park - spot 92. Did meet one roll call member,Lizzie the other day. Sounds like we had lots in common, wish we could have spent more time together.
We are thinking of doing the Top of the Road Highway, but a bit leary in our big rig -I know some of you have done it - how are the roads this year?
Have a great recommendation for you. After Teslin, we took the road from Jake's Corner to Tagish and stayed at the Six Mile River Resort. Best place we have been to so far. Electric and water on a grassy site, not too fancy, but it is right on the river, plenty of room for big rigs - only 9 spots I think. The hosts, Mitch and Doug were great! Mitch runs a great restaurant on site and makes killer pizzas along with lots of other great dishes. It is a relatively new resort and they are with Passport America, with no restrictions. We stayed 3 nights. Did Atlin one day ( road under big construction, not sure I would rx going unless you really wanted to}. The next day we drove to Skagway. http://www.sixmileriverresort.com/
