We stayed at River's Edge. Nice pull-thrus. We had 50amp, cable tv and Wi-Fi. Close to town. Do the Riverboat Discovery and Gold Dredge #8 if you want some tourist things to do. Santa's House there also. Pioneer Village is free. Riverboat and Gold Dredge our in you Toursaver coupon book. Fun, at Gold Dredge they let you pan for gold. Between my husband and I we panned $21.00 but it cost him $29.00 to put it in a charm for me, lol. Still lots of fun.
We are at Denali NP now. Going into the park today, tomorrow is a back-country jeep trip, then Monday is white water rafting. All in the toursaver book also.
Still haven't seen anymore Roll Callers (except for Pasco1215 earlier in trip)

hi - got a kick out of the panned gold and the charm. in 2004 we did the same tour and i got $5 worth of gold and put it into a $20 charm.
wife still has it. Fairbanks was one of my favorite cities in Alaska. The riveboat trip was nice. did you get to see the plane take-off and land? do not know the distance, but it was really short. and Susan Butcher place?
