Susan Butcher, the legendary musher, died in 2006. I don't know the status of her kennel.
Hugh Neff was the 2012 Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile Sled Dog Race champion. His kennel is in Tok, Alaska. Hugh is a grand character, from Chicago!
