Susan Butcher, the legendary musher, died in 2006. I don't know the status of her kennel.
Hugh Neff was the 2012 Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile Sled Dog Race champion. His kennel is in Tok, Alaska. Hugh is a grand character, from Chicago! http://hughneff.com/kennel-tours/
Muktuk Adventures, operated by the legendary musher Frank Turner, is just a wee bit north of Whitehorse, Yukon. Frank is a fascinating speaker and they also serve up a wild game dinner if you're interested. Frank's dogs are very well cared for too, and he ensures his dogs live their elder years well. A good kennel!

Michelle Phillips, another well-known musher, is near Tagish Lake (south of Whitehorse) in Yukon. http://www.tagishlakekennel.com/
