We had a minus low tide this morning and took the opportunity to walk down the beach about two miles to look for fossils at a coal seam. Only found one fossil but it was great fun. Pasco 1215 is a few spaces down from us. We took the Kachemak Bay Ferry, "Danny J" over to Halibut Cove for dinner at the Saltry tonight. There were only 10 of us on the boat and the weather was beautiful. The food was outstanding and Halibut Cove is really special. We do not have a mosquito problem here, perhaps because we are so close to the beach and it is windy?
Lizzie, it sounds wonderful. Are you going to be there Friday on? We get there at Oceanview Friday for a week stay and would love to meet you.
