Sorry we missed you, Janet. We saw the clouds in Valdez today and packed up and came back to Kenney Lake. On our way to Anchorage tomorrow. We'll only spend a couple of nights there, go to Fred Meyer and Walmart to replenish supplies, then head for the Kenai.
Hope you get more weather like yesterday in Valdez. Beautiful blue skies, bright green mountainsides, salmon, bald eagles, grizzly bears--what more could you ask! And that was just in town--sounds like you saw even more wildlife on your cruise. Enjoy the rest of your trip--we are only a month into our 3 months, so we still have a long way to go.
