Yesterday was The Perfect Day on the Homer Spit. Clear blue sky, 72F and slight breeze. Douglas Mountain 75 miles away was visible all day and the locals say that doesn't happen often. Great Kayak trip, BBQ and fire with a spectacular sunset and then a full moon rising over the glaciers! It just doesn't get any better. Hope you were here.
