fangrs. I have had no difficulty reviewing your entire blog on both sites since we returned home. Thank you so much! The specimen that we picked up on the Taylor Highway are dendrites but I didn't know the origin of their base rock. I think it may be banded rhyolite? There were some beautiful large slabs there but of course we took only small samples. The rock slide was near milepost 38. We are rank novices at this, but we love it. Although I don't care for organized tours, I would sign up in a heartbeat for one that focused on geology. Want to organize one? lizzie
