Day three of my travels, overnight in the Badlands. Based on advice from the group mind, I've eliminated the Washington / Vancouver leg of my journey and am now crossing into Canada via US89 / Alberta 2.
The roads in rural Wisconsin are a mix of great and awful. For whatever reason both Garmin and Google took me on a tour of the back roads, ending on something called County Road PP, before connecting with I-90.
I-90 itself is rather heavy with traffic, even in South Dakota. A lot of fellow rv's going both ways, and lots of bikes coming/going from Sturgis. Anyone notice a rough ride in the right hand lane, west bound on I-90? The pavement is smooth, but there's some sort of low frequency resonance that sets up, and the whole rig starts violently bucking front-back. Shift to the left lane and it goes away, no problem. Noticed it once I crossed from MN to SD.
