In 1993, we woke to fresh snow on the ground in Yukon on September 18.
The weather has been extremely variable this year. It was a late spring. It has been a hotter than usual summer. Can't predict when the first snow will blanket the ground but wouldn't be surprised if it is in mid-September.
The only thing predictable about the weather on this road is that it will change.
