For those of you doing the Cassiar.... Don't fret about it. My earlier post when I went down the Cassiar was just to remind people to go slow and you will have no problems. The only iffy section was when they were doing road work after the one lane bridge by Dease lake and our problem was the 18 wheelers zooming down the hill. We had to pull way over which is hard when you are a big rig. No problems with the road at all just the truckers...they were not driving safe so you have to.
Do the Cassiar. Hyder was one of our favorite spots. We stayed in Stewart at Bear River. Full hook-ups, pull thru and an easy drive to the Hyder Bears. Saw quite a few bears fishing. Loved it!!
We are back in the good old USA now also. As much as I love Canada I do love getting back on US soil. We are still taking our time getting home. We are in Idaho Falls now for three nights. Wonderful campground, Snake River RV and Camp. 50 amp is sure a blessing after 4 months without. Tomorrow off to Bear World where you drive thru a zoo like park where the animals roam while you drive thru in your car. Sounds great and I'm sure not done looking for more animals, lol. So far all we saw since we hit the US border is cows!!! lol
