- FizzExplorerWord of caution.
Chances are every weekend is already booked solid in Southern Ont Provincial Parks. - Dale_TravelingExplorer IIThanks for all the responses. Yes I got my reentry point to USA wrong. Looking at two potential trips of one week or two weeks. One week has us traveling across southern Ontario with a stop on the southern shore of Lake Huron. The two week trip has us heading north along eastern Lake Huron with a potential stop at Killbear then up to Lake Superior with a stop at Pancake Bay before heading south into the Michigan UP.
We're looking at being north of the boarder second week of July.
Two Week Trip Route
One Week Trip Route - owenssailorExplorerInverhuron Prov park and McGreggor Prov Park are just North of Kincardine along Hwy 21. Inverhuron has a very lovely sand beach.
- loulou57ExplorerYou are right about the Pinery. I would like to know the itinerary of our OP.
There are times when some of these parks may be not what a person is looking for. - deewhite0612Explorer

I'm working on our summer trip across Ontario between Niagara and Port Huron with a stay at a Provincial Park along Lake Huron.
Are you sure you don't mean Lake Erie?
Port Huron is at the very bottom tip of Lake Huron, the lake west of Niagara towards Port Huron is Lake Erie.
Killarney Provincial Park is 7 or 8 hours north of Port Huron, MI / Sarnia, ON.
He could mean Pinery, which is only an hour from Port Huron. - loulou57Explorer

Lake Huron could be right. The bottom end reaches Port Huron/Sarnia. There are a few Provincal Parks along highway 21 all the way up from Sarnia to Southampton. - loulou57ExplorerAs said we have in our provincial parks either electrical or no electrical for sites......Outlet means electrical.
On the outlets there will be one 15 amp and one 30 amp.
You will need to bring at least 100ft of extension just to be safe, depending where and how you position your unit on the site.
You can fill your fresh water tank when you enter the parks.
What park/parks are you staying at in Ontario? I ask because we have stayed at most and we could possibly help you pick an area. - JaxDadExplorer III

- Jack_Diane_FreeExplorerIn most Provincial Parks the power pedestal is a long way off and you will need at least one 30 or 50 amp extension and often two. That is my experience.
