Ontario Hwy 144 Construction

Question

Talking to a local chap on Sat' &amp; he was back for the weekend from the road work on Hwy 144. Currently there is 30 klicks of roadwork between Cartier and the Watershed Truck Stop. I never thought to ask him if it was north or south of Halfway Lake Prov' Park. We were thru there 2 summers ago &amp; there were rough stretches even where there wasn't ongoing roadwork.

Have a good trip. We were thru Wawa last summer on our way from Fushimi Prov' Park (west of Hearst) down to Pancake Bay PP.

Take lots of mosquito repellant for Wawa.  I was there a couple weeks ago and never saw such thick supply.  If you just clapped your hands together for no reason you killed 3-4 every time.
