- ksg5000ExplorerWith traffic it's a long drive. Since the Oregon Coast is beautiful with plenty of attractions I would take advantage and stop at a few of those small towns and have fun. That would likely require you to spend another night and camp at a mid way spot.

This is about 300 miles, with lots of small towns. How long might this take in July pulling a 30' fiver?
About two days!!:B
Well even winter it is an hour or so for South Newport to North Lincoln City. I would count on a 40mph to 35 mph speed average at best. Many small cities with congestion, and many sections that are twisty with tight turns, along with heavy summer RV traffic.
Figure about 10 hours. - diazr2ExplorerProbably 8 to 9 hours. The road gets pretty tight right before Florence. Maybe three miles of very tight turns once you pass Sea lion Caves it's a pretty easy run. Just my opinion of course.. One mans tight turn is another mans easy turn..
