It's more about consumerism than anything else. In Monterrey the city water has won numerous awards for the best water in Mexico and LA. Constantly replacing and upgrading the network.
I drink water everywhere. Have I had a problem, who knows. Most times when people get sick the symptoms are all the same. Water, food poisining, Ecoli contact, you get a slight fever, aching bones and joints, sometimes vomiting or diarrhea. It passes for most healthy people.
I don't fall for bottled stuff, plastics aren't being recycled enough, the trash looks awful and most times bottle water has some contamination.
Funny part is, all bottled products use purified water yet bottled water is more expensive than soda, drinks and beer. Who's the fool?
