Wm> Yes the Tinacos are a major part of the problem. I can show you Tinacos with no lids. The check valves are corroded due to salty water. The pipes are a joke. Leaks that allow dirt and more to enter the system. Our water is tested before it leaves the large cisterns. It actually is OK at that point. Anyone who says you can drink all the water in Mexico is playing Russian Roulette. That would also go for USA water.
