The Dollar is high because the US economy is doing very well. Gas is cheap partly because the Saudis and other members of OPEC are selling oil cheap to drive down the cost benefit of the shale oil fields in NDakota and elsewhere which stand to make the US oil independent soon. Gas is also cheaper in the US because we have so much oil in storage and in the distribution chain.
It is not Economic Warfare...it is the market.
Gas is only more expensive in other countries because their taxes are much higher, their distribution costs are higher, their markets are smaller and their systems less efficient in some cases. In others like Mexico the Gas Distribution has no competition...
Again that is NOT economic warfare it is simple first year economics 101, the market.
