Bottled water is a business. Countries don't purposely produce bad water to make people sick. That would be bad economics. Mexico City produces good water, it's the delivery system in some areas that's bad. Same in many countries including developed countries. We're just finding that out. Monterrey has great water, award-winning in fact.
I never pay for bottled water. Mineral water or club soda in Mexico is cheaper and in some cases if not most, beer is cheaper.
I dare someone here to do a couple of tests on their trips throughout rv parks, city water systems and bottled waters to find out the truth.
Here are just a few that were discovered last year in the U.S.; Acadia, Acme, Big Y, Best Yet, 7-Eleven, Niagara, Nature’s Place, Pricerite, Superchill, Morning Fresh, Shaws, ShopRite, Western Beef Blue and Wegmans.
Snake oil. Boil your water but don't be fooled.
