No problems with water in the last 20 years? There was a bad problem in Canada, in the town of Walkerton, Ontario, about ten years ago. Two brothers had been in charge of the drinking water there, and didn't do a well enough job of keeping it safe. Seven people died, countless people suffered organ damage. It was months before it was deemed safe to even shower in the water. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who takes drinking water for granted can be at risk, especially people traveling in RV's. We always buy our drinking water and never rely on the saftey of the water from our holding tank. I agree it is a long shot to have such bad water as it was in Walkerton, but wherever we travel in North America, we do not trust tap water. Anywhere. In Mexico we do rely of the purified water that's on sale countywide.
