Out the door....

Off this morning for a 4 to 6 week wander about BC.

Penticton to Kamloops to William's Lake, Bella Coola, back along 20 to Hanceville, south on dirt thru the Gang Ranch, ,Lilloett, Squamish, Vancouver, Harrison, Canyon for train spotting, Merritt for jam, Well Grey Jasper, Banff...plus any hot springs along the way. Taking the kayak....I keep saying fish, but....we'll see.

I run with VHF LADD 1 up, if you see us...give a shout.

    Canyon to Clearwater, or back to Merritt before going to Wells Gray?

    Vancouver, Canyon, Merritt, Kamloops to Clearwater for Wells Grey..then on to Jasper/Banff.

    I have removed the FB info...decided to limit who would see how many at home, would see that we are away.

    The Blog still will see the pix.

    I drove thru Gang Ranch enroute to Bella Coola with my truck/camper a few years back. Gravel/dirt road Gang Ranch to Farwell Rd was good going, but some parts are like a narrow lane with small sappling trees bent over the road which at 11 ft tall camper I was able to weave around, but thought if I ever drove it again I would carry a saw of some sort in case I needed to cut a low hanger...have a good trip!...you will love Farwell Canyon!!

    Sounds like fun! We need to get back to that area again. The flying gets expensive but it's the only way.

    Should be a lovely trip. With classes back in and cooler temps at night places should be much quieter. Enjoy for the rest of us...and post some pics as able.

    Overnight in Clinton...library/wifi has nice on-street street parking....roll out the bbq and have at'r....



    Clinton..pop 650...old cowboy/mining town. Don't fret about me using the bbq.
