Front Door Blind
Ugh 😱😱😱😱
i don’t think the finish work from Forest River on my NEW 5th Wheel was very good—electric water heater not plugged in, battery cables stuffed into a cavity where cables not in alignment with detents in lid…so lid can’t be secured…
Here’s another problem, albeit small.
The accordion blind inside my front door seems to have been installed what I’d think of as upside down. I’d think the blind should be secured at the top, needing to pull it down to shade, so gravity (see Sandra Bullock and George Clooney) can help keep it down…but this one is the reverse, secured at the bottom needing to pull it up to shade.
There is no magnet or latch to keep it up, so…vibrations from opening and closing the door, from me taking the steps cause the blind to inch down.
i don’t want to R&R the thing (Remove and Replace), as it’s not that big a deal.
So I’ll just put a thin line of silicone gel along its flat plastic top, and then tape it up there until it cures (likely just leave it until the next day).
Then it’ll stay closed.
i could open it if i ever want to, with a plastic knife stuck in the top, twist…but i don’t think I’ll ever want to.
