- VeebyesExplorer IIWe are just finishing up a 3 month trip which included 2 months in Canada.
Canadian TV is great. Next to no US news & even less US politics, especially appreciated this year. More world news than you thought existed. Canadian weather about ignores US weather as US ignores Canadian weather. Reliability is about the same. Much room for improvement. - garyhauptExplorerOne can buy an Android box and as long as they have a strong wifi signal, have a huge selection of channels. The only caveat...there has to be a very good wifi connection.
Gary Haupt - pyoung47ExplorerWe were in PEI, Quebec, NB, and Ontario just now. Could always get 2 or more stations. My Tailgator worked fine in PEI as well, although I lost most HD channels. I had set the locals to N MAine, and the worked as well.
- Tom_M1ExplorerGo to TVFool.com. You can enter a city and province and it lists TV stations you can receive.

Edit: thecdnmole beat me to the punch. - thecdnmoleExplorerUse this website to see what channels are close by, anything more than 40 miles probably will not come in, depending on topography and obstructions.
Tvfool - NCWriterExplorerWe were in Atlantic Canada in 2012 for more than a month. Using our over-the-air antenna, we usually were able to pick up Canadian Broadcasting for news. There was a morning news and features program similar to the US "Today" show. Other than that, not a lot, but sometimes programming I enjoyed a lot, like "Republic of Doyle."
I recall watching a lengthy panel discussion about seal fisheries issues in Newfoundland. - MitchF150Explorer IIII'm in WA state and if I'm not near any kind of "large city", I don't get nothing on over the air TV.. Even on the coast, I get nothing..
I rely more on the radio or my cell phone for weather.. I can get far more cell phone connection than TV at almost anyplace I go.
Good luck!
Mitch
