Your posting sparked a memory...Somewhere I have an article saved or in my favorites of an older couple in Oregon. She looked up every casino and found out which nights were their "special" nights. Special nights being either 1/2 off or whatever a casino offers to get people in the doors. Between the casino's and Elks clubs etc, they toured the whole state and ate 3 meals a day and paid hardly anything to overnight. Do remember that she said that she only cooked one meal all week.
