That's what I planned. Towing a big 5er.
I guess you could drive that to the bridge that crosses the river to Palo Verde County Park, CA.
If I were towing and going to Palo Verde County Park, I had rather take CA78 from Blythe, CA. - 2oldmanExplorer II

I am in Ehrenberg, AZ. What section of Ox Bow road are you interested in. It heads south just a few feet just west of the Flying J at I-10, Exit 1. Somewhere south Ox Bow become just a gravel road on a dike on the east side of the river. I guess you could drive that to the bridge that crosses the river to Palo Verde County Park, CA.
Are you confusing Ox Bow Road with the OX Bow BLM Campground? - 2oldmanExplorer III tried google maps, and I guess I need more practice with earth. I couldn't even tell if the road is paved.
- h2guyExplorerLook at it on Google Earth. Rolling the cursor over it will give elevation so you can guesstimate grades.
