Pahrump, NV to Central OR coast?
Looks like north from here would be quite a bit shorter...but no interstate. Cut through Old Station after Reno? Connect up with I-5 at Shasta?

You might consider 395 north connect with 31 NW out of Lakeview, 97 to Bend and 22 to the coast.
