Pahrump, NV to Central OR coast?
Looks like north from here would be quite a bit shorter...but no interstate. Cut through Old Station after Reno? Connect up with I-5 at Shasta?

Typically, we leave Laughlin mid March to start heading North into Oregon, via Sparks, but it's going to be delayed a couple weeks this year due to the weather. It's pretty nasty up there still.
We usually take 38 or 126 to the Coast after N on 395 to Alturas, to Klamath Falls, then 97 to 138.
Probably not gonna tackle it till maybe first week of April, or end of March this year.
If you are leaving that early, might be safer to take 5 up.
