Yup, been there done that many times. Good ride, good roads, and light traffic.

Looks like a lot of winding and up and down and all around. Thinking an extra 1.5 hours might be worth it to cruise up there on the flats. Although I'd bypass Shasta and the pass going into Oregon if I take the Nevada route.
