paint jobs at the reef rv park

I have not had work at the Reef but if you go to Algodones, next to Yuma, the Navarro Bros. do excellent work. They have a booth that will fit your RV. They will use the best paint if requested. More money to do so but worth it. Had my RV painted there and body work and paint on my toad.

I have had some paint work done in Playa Bonita. Quite interesting watching the guys work. The work I had done was excellent, no complaints. Another friend had extensive body work done and it was excellent.

I would think that the Reef is a little windier and would be a bigger challenge.

One word of advice: Let them get the paint in town, do not bring it with you. Reason being is that if the color doesn't match, and you don't like it, you will have to buy paint there and it is kinda expensive. So let the painters get the paint and it id doesn't match, it is their dime.

About six years ago, some friends of ours had their Class A painted out in the open at the back of the RV park in Rocky Point. I don't know if this was the same park or group of painters you are referring to or not. The finished product was cheap and looked cheap. From a distance, it didn't look all that bad. But, from 15 feet or less, it was not very smooth or professional looking. As mentioned earlier, it was painted outside without drying lamps.

If you'd like a "better" job, try the paint shop in Alcodones, just across the border from Yuma. You go into town, turn right at the stop sign, and go about 6 blocks. He has a booth and a locked facility. One motorhome he painted looked almost as good as new, but the cost was $5K, and that was five years ago. A Jeep he painted four years ago looked like it was the original paint job, and the charge was $350 (if I remember correctly).
