Good provincial CG just south of Balfour, Kokanee Creek. Or if you want hook-ups try Birch Grove a bit further on.
If you have time it's a good lakeside drive north and back to Kaslo to go on board the SS Moyie dry docked there.

I was just going to recommend this route. Stop along the lake for lunch at the marina.
Last time we were in Peachland, we rode the steam engine but watch out for your valuables cuz there were some hombres who held up the train, lots of gunfire before they let us continue. Kinda fun.
