personal medications into and out of Canada
Regulations seem strange for taking medications into Canada and returning to US. What have forum members experienced? I will be on the road for over 5 weeks and get medications in 90 day bottles and w...

We have been asked about our perceptions going into the USA. We were going down for a couple of days and the boarder guard asked if we had perceptions drugs with us. We said we did, he asked what were they in. We said we had them in our weekly despncing trays.
The gaurd said they are supposed to be in their original containers with all the labels not readable and damaged.
We thought to ourselves oh boy are trip is over before it begins.
Then he said remember that next time you come into the USA and let us go.
Since then I have been all over the world including many trips back to the USA and have never been asked again.
However I do now carry them in the bottles they came in, and I also have my doctors business card in my wallet.
