- Were there now. A good halfway point. The wind is howling and there is a bit of dust in the air. Oh well, its a flat spot and we were tired and not on the road. Perhaps the wind will be gone tomorrow.

Bill and Carole - X2 for Vidal Junction on 95 CA side.
- We stayed at the Mayflower Park beside the Colorado River near Blythe several years ago and found it very nice.
- PLENTY of places to dry camp along 95 on the CA side. Just came that way today and saw probably 10-15 large areas to get off the road and spend the night. We came across at Parker and are setting 6 miles north of Quartzsite, off Plamosa Rd.
- If you take highway 95 on the Arizona side, there are a plethora of campgrounds from Lake Havasu City to Parker.
If you take highway 95 on the California side, campgrounds are limited to a few along the river across from parker.
