Places for pitstop along 95 to Florida

Ok, my trip in February is all booked from Eastern Pa to Fort Meyers and Ft. Lauderdale with a few overnights in between. Now all I need to know is there a website that gives you good, easy to stop places to stop and have lunch, stretch etc.? In October on our first trip we saw a sign that said visitor's center in the middle of some town in VA I believe and it turned into a nightmare. The visitor center was in the middle of this town that no way could you navigate with a 35ft motorhome. Thank God some nice road workers, stopped traffic so we could turn around in a church parking lot! LOL! Anyway, you know what I am looking for and appreciate the help!

    If you have a modern phone...you cam load on it Allstays camp and RV for $9.99....and throw away all the camping books.....best thing I found...the other app is iExit..which is like the next Exit book but ,Both of these apps know your location and give you on the spot info
    But, we also have found that Cracker Barrel and most truck stops...ie,Pilot have decent rest in them to eat....and each stop may have different choice...just saw a Pilot with a 5-Guys in it...Chuck


    I'll second the $9.99 Allstays Camp and RV app. We used many apps before and finally broke down and bought this Allstays app this past trip from MD to Key West. I wish I had bought it a couple of years ago.

    I'll second the recommendation for the Dillon, SC Walmart being quiet and level for an overnight.

    We went from NYC to Key West last may. We had the 95 exit site but I think the book "the next exit" was more useful. The rest areas are too crowded, Too expensive and have lousy food. just get one of those page magnifiers for the writing is kinda small.

    You can buy the Next Exit at Camping World. Gives you a list of all services at each exit for all the Interstates. Gas stations, food, WallMarts, Home Depot, etc.

    I am so excited about the Red Coconut and was really lucky to get in since I just booked last week. We even switched our trip and made it a week early and ended up on the beach side. I wanted a place we could walk to some places to dine, since we don't tow a car yet. I am not too thrilled about the only place I could get the in Ft. Lauderdale area, but we have friends in town, so we will be going back and forth with them anyhow. Also, I have booked two nights each way at RV parks. We have a dog and we like the full hookup, so we will not be staying in any rest areas, just want them to stop and take a break and make or buy lunch.

    You will love the Red Coconut. A little tight but a great destination with lots to see and do. Easy to meet people and the Junkanoo across the street has a great Grouper Sandwich. Take a run over to Lovers Key State Park for a really good untouched beach experienced. Very nice.

    We drove from Md to Orlando. I stopped in South Carolina to spend the night at a rest stop. What a mistake. The parking was fine, but it was all of the trucks leaving their engines run all night long. It was also warm out and we had a window open to keep the trailer vented. That made it worse, so miserable. I should have stopped in Dilton at the Walmart like I originally planned.

    There are two Walmarts next to 95. One in Dilton and one further south in Florence. Check them out in Google maps. Both seem to have room for your trailer. I called the Dilton one before and they were ok with campers spending the night.
