Plan to see Ice Fields Pkwy July 6-12, Whats it like Now.?

I'll be in Glacier,Montana July 1-5 2017 and want to see the Ice Fields-Banff to Jasper and want to stay at Lake louise if possible..Now wehave no reservations plus the big 150 this yr, So where could...

As others have said, anything inside the park is going to be very busy/full. I would recommend staying in or near Hinton, or you could consider going West of Jasper toward Valemount, or even as far as Blue River/Clearwater. Regardless of where you stay, I can't recommend reservations enough. Now that the kids are out of school for the summer (as of yesterday/day before) there are a LOT of RVs on the road.
