Planning an extended trip, looking for advice.

We are in the beginning stages of planning (more like discussing), an extended trip starting from our location just outside Vancouver BC Canada. Our furthest destination point would be the Florida Key...

We have several routes we planned from Seattle to Florida. We try to never exceed 300 miles in a day or 6-7 hours. For us, that means 2 weeks in each direction without much sightseeing or resting. Timing is important! When do you plan to leave BC & when do you need to be back?
