Thank you! I've gotten some pretty crazy looks from pretty much everyone I've told about our trip, however none of them are campers. And that's a great point about delivery trucks & 18-wheelers. I hadn't thought of that. We are just still new to all of this, so I'm sure we'll feel much better after we have driven some distance with it.
It does make a difference who you share your dreams with. You are among friends here who all share the adventure of travel. Once on the road and visiting other campers along your journey, you will become even more excited. I've met only one unhappy camper on the road in almost 60 years of camping with my parents, other friends, and my own family. If they don't actually do camping themselves, they simply do not understand this passion. Enjoy your travels.
