The guide said that it really depends on the timing of the cold weather. This was his first excursion of the year and this year it was quite warm leading up to this tour.
While we were disappointed with the number of polar bears and other events, we still had a lot of fun with the other participants and the Wagonmaster was great. So, not all was lost!
