A few years ago I tried to stream the 2 part Don Cherry movie. Since I'm a yank, the CBC website said that since I had a foreign web address, I couldn't download it. All was not lost, since I live in Seattle, our cable has the Vancouver CBC station so eventually it came on.
Yup, seems you can't stream anything from CBC if you are using a US IP. We tried streaming some of the Canada Rugby Sevens on CBC a few weeks ago from So Cal and couldn't.
