As noted, YES, you can take your Hopper with you. The Winegard Trav'ler has all the hardware that you need except that you will need to add a Solo Node splitter. You can do the exact same thing with a home style satellite TV antenna (and solo node) mounted to a tripod or similar which you then manually point at each new location.
It's being done by full-timers, part-timers and weekend warriors everyday!
