I understand taking highway 97 from Madras to Redmond and then taking 126 East to 5 miles west of Pineville and then going South on SW Millican Road.
I also see just South of Madras on highway 97 highway 26 branches off of highway 97 and goes to Pineville.
Now let me rephrase my question.
What is better road and or route
From that turn off is highway 97 to Redmond and from Redmond on highway 126 to SW Millican Road
Or is highway 26 from that junction to Pineville and from Pineville on highway 126 to SW Millican Road the better road and or route?
Either road is good. Fuel is more available, and easier, in Redmond. Also from Prineville west to Millican Road it is about a 2 mile hill climb - an easy hill.
I grew up in Redmond so am partial somewhat. There is ranch land between Madras & Prineville - no towns.
Have a safe trip, whichever route you choose.
