Provo, UT to Grand Tetons US-189 / I-80 / WY-89

One cool thing about Google maps is that you can drop the little man icon on the route your contemplating and you immediately go into street view. You can then judge for yourself if the scenery is to your taste or not.

OP - We did that route in reverse last Sept. with our 40' MH. We found it to be anything but bland.

GM gives you the fastest - assuming its speed assumption are reasonable. But it also gives 2 others which differ only by 20 minutes/20 miles.

We took this route in the opposite direction in 2010. A few slight grades coming out of Provo (beautiful senery). Once you get on the US16 there are some 5-6% grades you will face as you climb the mountain. Should not be a problem with your rig. Evanston has diesel fuel as does a few stations on US16. Are you staying at Colter Bay RV? We did the float raft and took a tour van of the area. Lots to see there and not nearly as crowded as Yellowstone.
