I am an RV'er who treks to Rocky Point every year during the winter months, we have been coming here for 15 years now.
We were here when the action was underway. We were quite close but at no time in any danger. I am sure everybody was somewhat apprehensive, during and afterwards.
It was a well executed raid involving the Federal Government who had planned the event well in advance, injuries or death came only to the bad boys and no tourist or inhabitants were involved or hurt.
We have been here other times when the drug folks have had similar situations, and shooting's were part of the end result with only them being harmed.
We will continue to travel here!
