Pullin Creek Skagway
Does anyone here know if Pullen Creek RV Park will be open in 2015 ? Was it open in 2014 ? I know where it is and what it is, just wondering if it's still open .

Pullen Creek is not the Skagway RV park in danger of closing. It is the Garden City RV Park whose land is now owned by the City of Skagway. They want to close the campground and build a new city hall on the property. It was supposed to close in 2014, but stayed open. It is still listed as being open in the Milepost and on the Good Sam Website.
The cruise ship passengers are the moneymakers for Skagway, not the "cheap" RVers. So, who knows since the city doesn't really show much concern for RVers. If Garden City closes, one wonders where all the seasonal employees who care for those cruise ship passengers will live. Right now, many live in trailers at Garden City.
