I only buy Chevron. I filled up a station about a mile from my regular one and found I paid 6 cents a gal. more. My regular station is across the street from competition. They have to match. It's location, location, location. Quartsite is a snowbird magnate. Snowbirds are supposed to have extra bucks. AZ. retailers depend on their business, some to last the year. Even at our local produce market I see increased prices. It's seasonal business. I don't mind paying a little extra for a few months because AZ's economy depends on them. Doctor's offices, restaurants, etc. are jammed but it's business. If it wasn't for their tax generated revenue the gastapo would be coming for us for more money. It seems like you are an AZ. resident so you should know how the game is played. I doubt AZ is any different than any other tourist destination. IMO..
