The drive from TF to Idaho Falls is good, as it is all interstate. US 20 from IDF to West Yellowstone is no problem. The road coming out of Ashton up the hump has a rough spot or two, but nothing to worry about. When coming thru Island Park, respect the speed limits as posted due to heavy recreation areas.

Something else. If you can, fuel and grocery up in IF before heading up to West. It will save you some bucks. There is a Super Wally at I-15 and Yellowstone hiway with lots of parking.
