Normally all foreign country accept the foreign driver license. But some have the rule, to accept, only approved language translation of the driver license. This is done with a International Driver license.
As in Examples, the USA will accept the German DL, except Georgia, they don't do.. Foreign drivers have to show your DL with a proved Intl. DL.
Maybe you never run in Trouble in Mexico, with only your foreign DL, but I know some Canadians, and me, was ask by the police, for a Intl. Driver Licence. Otherwise you have to pay a fine.
