Re: US Route 50 Nevada - Loneliest Highway

Go ahead and take 50. The "lonely" label was given years ago.
There are towns along the way and diesel is available. Between the towns is very lonely, still. Hwy 50 is a much nicer drive than I-80. A bit slower though.
I have driven in many times (I live in Reno).
