For future reference, and maybe it will work for Canadians, too.
Progressive insurance in the US has the best prices for RV insurance we have found. AND.....all of your policy EXCEPT for liability, is in effect in Mexico. Really. I've had long conversations with them, it's written in the policy. Contents, collision, even their newly added at no charge, pet insurance. Our policy states that we may spend 6 months a year in Mexico, and be covered.
