Don't stop with the adjuster.
1. Talk to the company that sold you your policy. I assume you bought a 1 year policy.
2. Ask them for the supervisor in Mexico city that can overrule the adjuster, talk to that person by phone.
I did and got the adjuster reversed and they paid all but the deductible of course.
