All this is interesting. In BC ICBC rebates you you insurance after you get back for the time spent in Mexico, but technically you are still paying for it while there. i woudl think as long as you have the insurance papers showing the period is covered (even though in reality it is not, you should be OK. This changes my plans for any thoughts of leaving my RV in Mexico annually unless I no longer care about it being insured.
I remember you Jose, i was there in April (pretty blonde wife - people tend to remember her, not me). I never knew the ground there was that unstable.
Have you considered staying down long enough to get permanent resident status then nationalize the RV and get domestic Mexican insurance on it?
