Better than the last couple of years. The new concrete sections are fabulous. Seems as though the work they have been doing the last several years is paying off. The only part that made us swear was the periferico around Guad. It wasn't holey, but terribly rough. We lost a fog light assembly, and didn't even hear it go.
Our neighbors here, who did the same route with a day or two of us, agree, it's better than last year.
Guess it's all relative.
California roads are awful. The Mexican highways are on par with ours in California-but that's not saying much.
FYI, we drive a Class A on a Workhorse chassis, no tow.
